Introducing Pantone’s Color of the Year

With the new year and a time for new beginnings, Pantone’s color of the year is perfectly fitting. The 2017 Pantone Color of the Year is Greenery. A renewing shade of yellow-green, this color is becoming symbolic of the big changes that are to come. As we turn a new leaf into the new year we are reminded to continue our personal and global growth to better our future and protect the natural beauty that surrounds us.


The color of the year is chosen by a group of individuals from the Pantone Color Institute who delve into the design trends, art collections, socio-economic standing, and many other influences of our world to make their decision. Some year’s colors are more influential than other, and in this case the design world has already taken a liking to this vibrant yellow-green tone.

More and more people are “bringing the outdoors in” to liven up their space with luscious plants and shades of green.
