Have You Seen Pantone’s Rich Fall Palette?

Fall is officially here, and for some this is the most exciting news we’ve heard all year. The colors, the sweaters, the boots, and of course the cozy and delightful decor that spans throughout our entire home (and our life for that matter). As much as we’d love to give you the low down on all things pumpkin spice and everything nice, we’re here to give you the 411 on, what Pantone has promoted as, the color palette of the season. We’re not talking about just 3 or 4, we’ve got a total of 10 beautiful hues to embrace this autumn. No matter the application, this palette will give you a solid foundation of inspiration for all of your design and seasonal indulgences.

This bright reddish-pink hue is perfect for making a statement in your home without being to “out-there.” Named after a sweet cherry flavored syrup, this color won’t leave a bad taste in your mouth. Red’s and orange’s tend to have an uplifting and energizing effect when incorporated into a space, and we certainly stand behind this statement. For autumn, this color can keep things lively within your home even as the brightly colored leaves begin to fall outside. Paired with more neutral tones, this color can serve as the youthful, yet sophisticated, accent to any interior.

Tawny Port

We cannot survive fall without the dark intense warmth of a burgundy hue like Tawny Port. Exuding the luxuriousness of deep purple tones with just a hint of warm reds, this hue is sure to keep you cozy all season long. Often found as an accent tone, this color seems meant for a velvety application, like the gorgeous sofa in this living room. Tawny Port is also a beautiful tone for an accent wall, giving the space a comforting feeling. Don’t be afraid to bundle up with this burgundy…

Ballet Slipper

Gentle and sweet, this light pink hue will keep your space feeling bright and welcoming, even as the days slowly grow shorter. Pairing well with so many colors, this soft hue is a classic and is breaking down the feminine barriers in the home. Like a breath of crisp fall air, Ballet Slipper will keep you feeling refreshed and relaxed throughout the season.

One of the more obvious fall hues, Butterum fits right in with the expected but will surprise you in any application. Its warm butteriness brings out an indulgent aspect to any space it is welcomed into. With notes of caramel and a delicious cappuccino, this neutral tone will have you giddy with fall-fever. You’ll feel right at home in any space that has been blessed with Butterum’s presence.

Navy Peony

Sometimes the hardest things as the weather gets chillier, is to stay motivated and focused on your goals. We can’t say enough about the calming yet empowering effect a great deep navy blue can have on a person. Navy Peony is perfect for a home office or study, as blues tend to keep stress levels low and the mind clear. Keep moving forward this fall with this deep navy on your side.

Neutral Gray

Every palette needs a solid neutral tone to balance out the weight of some of its richer counterparts. Clearly this Neutral Gray is the perfect cool and collected addition to the bunch, offering a crisp and clean direction for those who favor a lighter space. This tone also opens up the doors for many accent colors to make their way into your design, making decor changes a breeze as the seasons change.

If you’re anything like us, the autumn days will have you craving sunny weekend afternoons with the windows wide open and a cozy abode to relax in. This deep teal hue will help create a space of pure bliss. It’s comforting effect is only enhanced with its unexpected liveliness, bringing a lovely twist to your interior that is unparalleled. Not to mention it is the perfect complimentary hue to all the usual fall hues (reds, burnt oranges, and golden yellows). If the full on color isn’t quite your style, opt for bringing in this beautiful blue-green hue in your home decor (i.e. accent pillows, rugs, throw blankets, etc.) – you won’t regret it.

Golden Lime

Often seen as a more springy color, this invigorating yellow-green color has us intrigued and inspired. Clearly working well with other various shades of green and yellow, Golden Lime will keep your home feeling fresh and inviting. This tone can add a rejuvenating feeling to a space because of its association with nature, but without being too bright or dark. A great color to play around with this fall to keep your home bright and cheery.

What a great blue hue! At first glance, Marina Blue can appear summery and refreshing, but when pulled into a fall palette we can begin to discover the awakening effect of this enchanting hue. Often overlooked, the beautiful combination of warm and cool tones can be just what you are missing from your design. It adds a balanced component to any interior and this blue is the perfect hue to compliment your warm autumn tones. Don’t believe us? Just look at ^ (this image) and the image below… The blue and orange look nice together, right?… Even if this isn’t how you would incorporate Marina Blue, we hope you can share in our appreciation for such a versatile hue.

Autumn Maple

Last but not least, Autumn Maple has us doing the happy dance in the candle aisle at Target. The enlivening orange tone is on our must have list, and isn’t leaving (πŸƒ πŸ‚) anytime soon. In an awesome location, this delight(fall) hue could make dread laundry day a little less (just maybe…). We hope you’ll warm up to this fun fall color as much as we have.

We have to give a shout out to Pantone for their unique and inspiring Fall Palette, because we’d have to say we certainly have fall(en) in love with all these gorgeous hues.
